Mother Comes Home Early & Finds Daughter's Male Teacher Hiding Under the Schoolgirl's Bed

A maths teacher has been discovered hiding under the bed of one of his 16-year-old pupils.

The unnamed teacher, 35, was discovered when the girl's mother returned to check up on her daughter on the last day of term.

He was arrested by Greater Manchester Police on suspicion of abusing a position of trust then released on bail until August 15 but has been suspended from his job.

A source aid: "The pair had gone back to the girl's house because they thought no one would be there.But the mum came home earlier than expected and caught them.

"She went into her daughter's room and found the teacher hiding under the bed. It was a terrible shock."

Greater Manchester Police officers and a number of partner agencies in the Bolton area are investigating the circumstances leading up to the incident itself. This investigation will also look at any safeguarding issues that need to be addressed and establish if any offences have been committed.
