Woman Poison 19 Children in Central China
Nineteen primary school students were hospitalized in central China after drinking yogurt that was poisoned by a woman China's state run news agency Xinhua reported.
The 34-year-old woman handed out the yogurt to students as they were leaving their school on Wednesday, local authorities said.
According to The Times of India Police in Loudi City of Hunan Province have detained the woman and accused her of placing rat poison and herbicide in the yogurt
She confessed to having injected rat poison and herbicide into the yogurt before handing it out to the students. The woman is suspected of suffering from a mental disorder, police told the state-run Xinhua news agency.
The condition of three students was described as serious by doctors.
