The exercise would last for five days. As usual, children between the ages of 0-59 months and pregnant women would benefit from all the available healthcare interventions. The interventions include; De-worming for children of 12 to 59 months, Vitamin A supplementation for children the ages of 6-59 months and screening for malnutrition.

Others are; birth registration, promotion of hand washing, and ante-natal care for pregnant women, voluntary counselling and testing of HIV/AIDS for pregnant women and distribution of nets for pregnant women that attend ante-natal care at first booking.

The exercise would be facility-based. Therefore, parents are advised to go to the nearest designated health facility to receive these interventions.

Go for routine immunization at the nearest health facility today. This message is from the Niger State Primary Healthcare Development Agency.
