Miley Cyrus is fast becoming known for her wacky ways after spanking a dancer on TV.
But it's not the first time the Hannah Montana star has raised eyebrows with her wayward behaviour. Miley, 20, grew up in the spotlight and she's had her fair share of crazy capers along the way in recent years.

1. Spanking a dancer on US TV
Earlier this week Miley flashed the flesh in knicker-shorts and thigh-high boots as she performed her controversial new single We Can't Stop.
She matched the saucy lyrics from the track with an X-rated performance which saw her flashing her bum and crotch and slapping a female dancer firmly on the bottom
2. Kissing a female dancer's cleavage on stage
Miley put on this raunchy display back in 2010 when she got to grips with one of her backing dancers during a Rock in Rio Madrid performance.
The snap of her kissing the dancer's cleavage while grappling with her groin was a shock to those used to her more savoury image.
3. Cutting off all of her hair
Miley took the plunge and ditched her sweet image for a grungey new look in August 2012 when she chopped off her hair and relaunched herself with a peroxide blonde crop.
At the time she said: "Never felt more me in my whole life. LOVE my hair, feel so happy, pretty, and free."

No stranger to the tattoo parlour Miley has SEVENTEEN inkings all over her tiny physique. The collection includes slogans and symbols on her ribcage, fingers, wrists, ears, arms, ankles... One of her more notable etchings is a quote from former US president Theodore Roosevelt’s “Citizenship in a Republic” speech given in Paris in 1910.
It reads: “so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”

Miley kicked off 2013 by cuddling up to One Direction hunk Harry Styles in bed back in January.
Luckily for her fiance Liam Hemsworth it was just a lifesize cardboard cut-out of the singer and belonged to her 1D obsessed younger sister Noah.

Nobody likes to be alone at Christmas - and Miley is no exception. So on December 24 last year, rather than driving around the streets of Los Angeles by herself, Miley took along an inflatable chum.

Earlier this month Miley appeared to be giving her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, a very public ultimatum when she wrote on Twitter: "Since you won't reply to my texts I'm giving you an hour to tell the truth or I'll tell it for you".
Attached was a snap of her alongside a mystery woman, but the message was quickly deleted as she followed up writing: "Wtf? My twitter was just actin all types of cray!"
However Miley has previously used the social networking site to vent her anger at her Achey Breaky Heart singing dad when she found out her parents had filed for divorce after 19 years of marriage.
At the time she wrote: "Since your texts and email obviously aren't working would you like to talk like this?"
