'Gangnam Style' star Psy's Inspirational Harvard Speech [Watch]
'Gangnam Style' star Psy is welcomed by hundreds of screaming students and fans as he gives a guest lecture at Harvard University on his success.
The South Korean The pop star, whose real name is Park Jae-sang, addressed students and faculty members inside an ornate church dedicated to the memory of those who lost their lives in World War I.
He noted that his presence at the Ivy League school "was weird" and recalled studying management at Boston University while marvelling at Harvard from afar.
"I was a college kid in Boston for four years and I used to have a nickname called WWF," he said
"It's not World Wrestling Federation, it is withdraw, withdraw, fail. That was my nickname, honestly. The class was too early."
According to Harvard professor of Korean History, Carter Eckert, the aim of the discussion was to look at Psy as a modern global digital culture phenomenon.
