Gunmen Kill Over 10 in Apo Abuja

Gunmen allegedly dressed in military uniforms stormed an uncompleted building behind Legislator’s Quarters in Apo, Abuja in the early hours of this morning Friday September 20th killing over 10 people.

The people killed were inhabitants of the uncompleted building.

The Niger Times gathered that the owner of a building close to the uncompleted building had warned people who pass the night in the building to stop, but they refused.

A resident in the area said that at about 12:30am he heard gunshot severally throughout the night, causing panic in the area. The number of people who died may be more than 20.
