One Dead, Four Injured as Wall Collapses on Students in Ogun

A weak wall collapsed on students at Ketu Adiye Owe primary school in Ogun State on Thursdays killing one and leaving four seriously injured.

The Niger Times gathered that the affected classroom is located in an erosion-prone area within the premises of the school.

The incident happened while the children were on break.

According to Nigerian Tribune the injured pupils were first treated in a private hospital before the Local Government Council Chairman, Comrade Rotimi Rahmon, directed that they should be transferred to the General Hospital, Ota, for medical attention.

The council boss was said to have visited the family of the deceased.
