"Proud and Honoured to win the Nigerian Footballer of the Year" - Victor Moses
Liverpool winger Victor Moses has declared his delight at winning the Nigerian Footballer of the Year award.
Moses was quick to point out that playing for his country is "a dream come true" and will surely bag a confidence boost from the accolade.
The 22-year-old, who came to the UK from Nigeria when he was eleven years old, represented England at Under-16, 17, 19 and 21 level, before choosing to play for the country of his birth at senior level.
Moses wrote on his Twitter account: "Proud and honoured to win the Nigerian Footballer of the year award for 2013.
"Is a dream come true to play for my country so thank you every1."

Moses, who is currently on a season-long loan at Liverpool from Chelsea, has collected 17 caps for his country at international level, scoring six goals.
