Pep Guardiola Furious, as Mole in Bayern Munich Leaks Match Tactics & Line-Ups
Though his side may have just defeated their closest title rivals, but Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola was not a happy man on Sunday night.
Guardiola has promised his players "heads will roll" when he discovers who leaked the team's tactics and line-ups for the Dortmund match to German tabloid Bild.
Bayern defeated Borussia Dortmund 3-0 at the Westfalenstadion on Saturday to extend their unbeaten Bundesliga run to 38 games, but Guardiola is digging to unearth a mole within the camp.
The paper appears to have a source in the Bayern camp, and has since revealed that Guardiola wasn’t in a mood to beat around the bush when he found out.
Bild quoted Guardiola as telling his players: "It does not matter who it is, heads will roll. I will throw him out. He will not play under me again."
Tactics were uncovered by the press ahead of the Klassiker and the club's chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirmed the existence of a mole, saying he should stop or face action from the club.
"We will obviously not bring in the NSA [National Security Agency] to find out who it is," Rummenigge told Sky television. "But I advise him to stop doing it or he will have a serious problem not only with Pep Guardiola, but also the entire club."
Bayern are seven points clear of Dortmund and four ahead of second-placed Bayer Leverkusen.
