18 month-Old Infant Burnt to Death in Lagos
A fire outbreak over weekend claimed the life of an 18 month old infant and two of his siblings.
The three siblings simply identified as Imoleayo, Ismaila and Busayo were said to be sleeping when fire engulfed a building and a church in Iba Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Lagos State, Nigeria.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained although most eye witnesses claim it victims’ one-room apartment before spreading to other rooms.
The Lagos State Fire Service responded very late to the fire outbreak. Mr. Rasak Fadipe, Director of the Lagos State Fire Service claims the distress call came in very late.
