Cristiano Ronaldo Opens Museum in His Honour [Photos]
Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has opened a new museum in Madeira, Portugal in his honour, which he said has extra room to be filled by future trophies.
The 28-year-old, was joined at the inauguration of the CR7 Museum on Sunday by girlfriend Irina Shayk, team-mate Pepe, Portugal coach Paulo Bento, Blancos' director of international relations Emilio Butragueno and a host of other prominent figures from Portuguese politics and sport.
On display at the museum exhibits more than 125 awards including shirts, photographs, signed footballs from his numerous hat-tricks, trophies dating all the way back to his childhood to the present day and the Ballon d'Or(formerly known as the Fifa World Player of the year title) he claimed in 2008 while with Manchester United.
"It's a special day, I don't want to mention specific ones" he said. "All I want is to win more and if the Ballon d'Or comes, there is extra room here."

Ronaldo, is currently on the three-man shortlist to be named the Ballon d'Or winner for a second time.
