Nigerian Artists Lose out at Channel O Africa Music Video Awards
2face, Tiwa Savage, Davido, Ice Prince, Iyanya are reportedly some of the Nigerian artists who lost out on winning awards at the Channel O Africa Music Video Awards 2013 this past weekend.
According to reports, other artists who failed to scoop awards include Naeto C, D'Prince, Chidinma, Jesse Jagz, Lola Rae and Burna Boy.
The awards show was held Walter Sisulu Square, in Kliptown Soweto this past Saturday and pop duo P-Square and Banky W managed to walk away with awards for 'Most Gifted African (West) Video' and 'Most Gifted RnB Video' respevtively
While Wizkid was allegedly the biggest winner of the night and won the 'Most Gifted Video of the Year' award beating P-Square, Ice Prince, R2Bees, Mafikizolo, Fuse ODG and six others.
Last year, Nigerian artists dominated the awards show but this time, it was the South African artists who came out on top.

Most Gifted Afro Pop Video: The Soil – Inkomo
Most Gifted Kwaito Video: Professor – Finger Prints
Most Gifted R&B Video: Banky W – Yes/No
Most Gifted Hip Hop Video: AKA – Jealousy
Most Gifted South Video: Oscar – Tsa Mandebele
Most Gifted African West Video: P-Square – Alingo
