Nigerian Police Trains 60,000 Officers for 2015 Election
THISDAY reports, that no fewer than 60,000 anti-riot mobile Police officers are currently being trained at the Police Mobile Training College, Ila-Orangun, Osun state for the 2015 general elections.
The Police officers were were drawn from all the 36 states of the federation and being prepared for the next year's general elections.
The Commandant of the college, Mr. Jackson El-Ekoh, who is a Deputy Commissioner of Police, stated at the weekend that the training was to make police officers more effective before, during and after the elections scheduled for this year and next year.
