AMC, got in on the pranking action to promote the return of The Walking Dead on Sunday. The cable channel terrorized unsuspecting New Yorkers with zombies hidden under the city sidewalks.
To pull off the stunt, they placed actors in full zombie attire beneath a modified subway grate in Manhattan's Union Square. As people stepped over the grates, the bloodied undead lunged at their feet while grunting and groaning.
