President Jonathan & 18 Governors To Visit Niger State on Saturday
Governor Muazu Babangida Aliyu disclosed on Tuesday that President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is expected in Minna the Niger state capital on Saturday.
The Chief Servant also said all the 18 governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP will also accompany the President to Niger state.
Governor Aliyu made the announcement after receiving the North Korean Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Jong Yong Chol at the Government house in Minna
According to Daily Times, the Governor did not give details of the visit but said "everyone is cordially invited".
The state security committee immediately after the courtesy visits went into closed door meeting ostensibly to perfect arrangements for the visit.
The Trade Fair complex in the state capital is also being given a facelift ahead of the visit an indication that President Goodluck Jonathan may address a political rally there.
