Aregbesola, Amaechi, Uduaghan To Participate in the 10km Okpekpe Road Race in Edo
Governors Rauf Aregbesola of Osun, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers and Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State have sent in their registration form to participate in the 2nd edition of Okpekpe Road Race come 3rd of May, 2014, a close aide of comrade Oshiomhole confirmed to Vanguard.
The aide said the governors have also sent in words that they are not participating to make up the numbers of athletes but to win one of the star prizes of the competition.
The 10 Kilometers over hills and sandy path, Okpekpe Road Race starts in Apama Road and ends in Okpekpe (Auchi), Edo State North Senatorial district of Nigeria.
Participating countries: Kenya, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Cameroon have sent initial confirmation.
Registration for the 2014 Okpekpe Road Race will be open till Thursday 1st of May, 2014. (Download Registration Form)
