FIFA Bans Barcelona from Signing Players For 14 Months
World football's governing body, FIFA, has imposed a 14-month transfer ban on Barcelona.
FIFA's disciplinary committee found the side breached rules "relating to the international transfer and registration of players under the age of 18."
"Barcelona has been found to be in breach of…the regulations in the case of 10 minor players and to have committed several other concurrent infringements in the context of other players," FIFA announced in a statement.
The implications is that Barcelona cannot buy or sell any players until at least the summer of 2015.
In addition,Barcelona was equally fined the sum of 450,000 Swiss Francs (£305,000).
Also fingered in the shady dealings was the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) who were equally sanctioned by FIFA for the same offence.
