Manchester United Sack David Moyes

David Moyes was sacked by Manchester United today in an 8am meeting with the club's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward, the Mirror reports.

According to the report, Moyes was informed of United's decision to dismiss him in a face-to-face meeting with Woodward at the club's Carrington training complex.

The meeting is said to have been amicable and professional, with Woodward thanking Moyes for his professionalism in what has been a difficult season following Sir Alex Ferguson.
