Sean "Diddy" Combs Gets Honorary PhD Degree at Howard
He dropped out of Howard University. But now Puffy or Diddy or P Diddy or Mr. Combs or Sean Combs or whatever you want to call him has an honorary degree from the historically black school.
He delivered the commencement address at the University over the weekend - one of five people who got honorary degrees from the school.
Combs attended Howard in the late 1980s, although he did not graduate.
That caused some in the University to question whether he should get an honorary degree.
But University President Wayne Frederick says Combs' entrepreneurial spirit was sparked at Howard, where he studied business.
So now you can call him Dr. Puffy or Dr. Diddy or Dr. Daddy…okay so we don’t really know how that part is going to work out just yet, but whatever we’re supposed to be calling him now…slide a Dr. in front of it!
