APC Endorse David Umaru for Niger East Senatorial District Bye-election
Niger state All Progressive Congress (APC) over the weekend endorsed former Niger State ANPP Gubernatorial candidate, Barrister David Umaru as the party candidate for the Niger East Senatorial District Bye-election coming up August 16.
The Chairman of the party, Engineer Mohammed Jibrin Imam after the stakeholders meeting disclosed this at the party secretariat which included the party executives at the state level.
According to him the agreement of the party to present David Umaru as the candidate of the party for the election was in line with the contribution of David Umaru to the party.
Responding to his endorsement Barrister David Umaru said, "I am happy that the party has done what the people want which is the unanimous endorsement of my candidature and I promised to keep the flag flying".
