Arsenal To Confirm £12m Mathieu Debuchy Signing after World Cup
Arsenal have agreed a £12million deal for Newcastle United full-back Mathieu Debuchy and will confirm the transfer after the World Cup.
Debuchy was strongly linked with a switch to Arsenal last week, with Arsene Wenger reportedly making him a top target to replace the departed Bacary Sagna.
And now Metro says a £12million fee has been agreed for the player, and the deal will be officially announced once Debuchy returns from the World Cup.
The 28-year-old is currently part of the France side which has qualified for the last eight, but the team could be back home at the weekend if they lose their match with Germany on Friday night.
