Google Celebrates Nigeria’s 54th Independence Anniversary With A Doodle (PHOTO)
Today, October 1, 2014 is Nigeria’s 54th Independence Anniversary Day and Google has a new doodle to celebrate with Nigerians on its local domain at google.com.ng
The artistic Doodle, shows couples in their respective native attires, from the three major tribes in Nigeria; Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba taking a ride on Nigeria’s major means of transportation; keke (tricycle), okada (motocycle) and danfo (bus).
Nigeria gained independence on the 1st of October, 1960.
This is the third doodle for Nigeria’s Independence Anniversary to be released by Google.
