Three Female Teachers Kidnapped by Gunmen in Benin
Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted three female primary school teachers in Benin, the Edo State capital.
The teachers who were identified as Mrs. Patience Osadolor, Momodu Aisha and Mrs. Patience Oroghene were reportedly seized at Orogbua Primary School premises located at Upper Ekenwan.
The gunmen were said to have stormed the school during school hours and shot sporadically.
It was gathered that during the shooting, a parent who came to check on his kid was hit by a stray bullet. The suspected kidnappers were said to have taken the teachers away in one of the cars belonging to one of the victims. k
When contacted, Edo State Police Command spokesman, DSP Moses Eguavoen, confirmed the incident and said the police had launched manhunt for the abductors.
