The First Trailer for 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' Unveiled [Watch]
From Academy Award winning filmmaker Peter Jackson comes “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies,” the third in a trilogy of films adapting the popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien.
The first teaser trailer is now online for all to view, and it shows a Middle-earth embroiled in massive conflict, with dwarves, elves, wizards, humans, a hobbit, and, of course, a massive, fire-breathing dragon all ready for war. The preview also notably repurposes music from The Return of the King specifically, the song Billy Boyd as the hobbit Pippin sings as the forces of Minas Tirith are decimated in an epic battle. The first hour of the first movie was good, then it went downhill. First time in my life I actually walked out of a movie. I hope this has something more to offer.
