Mustapha Bello Joins Niger State Guber Race
A former Minister of Commerce, Dr. Mustapha Bello, has joined the Niger State governorship race under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He made his intention known Today, during his official declaration in Minna, the Niger State capital.
He noted that he is in the race to develop the power state and provide the dividends of democracy to the people of Niger State.
The former Executive Director of Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) mentioned that if elected he would use his connection across the globe to make the state an investment haven.
Dr. Bello resigned his position as Minister of Commerce and Investment to contest the state governorship election against former Governor Kure in 2003 under the platform of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) and lost.
Now a People Democratic Party (PDP) member, he is considered by many as a top contender.
